Commission is usually based on the number of cars in a branch, and the manager's past experience with numbers and sales production. A typical example is a manager making 5% on a 100 car branch will be promoted to a 250 car branch, but take a decrease in commission to 3.5 or 4% because it is technically an "increase" in pay. They are expected to re-earn their commission percentage as they make the branch profitable and grow their fleet.

Bonuses for all employees include employee referral, car sales, and sometimes ESQi.

ARMS are paid 5-10% commission on their whole area- usually 3-8 branches,

Same with GRMS, but they usually have 2-5 ARMS under them, so a total of 15-30 branches.

RVPs/GMs and Admin Department Heads all get paid off of their entire group or region and have a commission structure of 1-5% Of course, you're talking about getting paid off of 1000 or more cars.

I believe the admin heads have a bonus structure that is dependent on their department's numbers, i.e. Loss Control: if we make our goals forthe year or win an exceptional achievement award, the dept head gets a bonus and it's up to him to determine whether the other members of the department are rewarded.
Area Managers are capped at 5% as are Group Managers. City Rental Managers can get up to 10%. Group VP/GM could get up to 15% if they were pioneers. Not sure if there are any of those "dinosaurs" left. "retirement" might have relegated all of them "extinct" :)
