It is precisely because nothing happened that Enterprise needs to deal with this on its own. Why should it take the threat of a possible law suite to take ownership and at the very least give a sincere appology rather than a "oh that kind of stuff happens all the time haha! welcome to my world".

So JH what would you do if you were in this parent's shoes? What would you expect from Enterprise if you were in this situation? What if you found a loaded gun between the sheets of a hotel room you rented? Who would you blame, and would an appology suffice?
