ex-Eracer here. The best answer to your request on getting in is LIE! I left ERAC (GP12) 2 years ago and it was the best thing ever and now work in pharma. Although I only made it to Ass Mgr, I stated I was a mangager @ ERAC and did like the previous post stated--got my "brag book" together which showcased my sales(dub) and many awards I'd won in my 14-month jaunt. I went so far as to state I'd won "rookie" manager of the year and place 2nd in overall Manager category for my group--All LIES I tell you. But one thing for certain is that the interviewing managers were very impressed and even stated that the thing they always heard about ERAC is that we work like dogs and have a continuous motor--they really look for these characteristics. Getting on in a spot is not usually quick though as it took me 4 company interviews before landing one, I know others it has taken 1/2 a dozen or more and over a year, just depends. Another thing of note, not for the weary at heart as you must take a battery of examinations that test your medical/product knowledge whereby you must score 85-90% on all of them or they can fire you while in the grueling 6-12 week training regimen.
