Default Re: Enterprise Jobs

"How many companies have an average retirement age of 45?"!!! What the fuck are you talking about??? To retire somewhere you must stay there more than 5 years, which from my time at Enterprise made you an old timer. Since the turnover is so freaking high this "fact" is garbage, its akin to saying Mussillini made the trains run on time so he wasnt that bad. If you take the number of people who have and do work currently for Enterprise and divide that by the total number of 45 year old retiree's I bet you'll be somewhere around 0.0001%. Not exactly the odds someone wants if they are willing to devote their lives to a company. This is the same type of propaganda when you hear 6 figures in 6 years. By the time I hit 6 years (jesus I know, 6 years but I wasnt motivated) the number of people from my training class other than me were 0 out of 12. The people that I recoginized (and were worth a damn) at a Christmas party dwindled to the point I could count them on one hand.

If you have no better prospects, take the job get a check for a while then bolt...though if you want to think about retirement and dont have a degree that opens doors then try a skilled union trade, I did that after Enterprise and loved it, plus the cash was well worth the hard work. But remember you'll never be running your own business, that implies an ownership stake in your operation or at least a franchise, the cash goes to the Taylors and the laugh at you while at the opera there in St Louis...financed by you by the way...
