Default Enterprise: We'll Ruin Your Life

Where do I want to begin with Enterprise and Region C. For starters, Alex Omar is 100% of the reason that I stayed there as long as I did. Second, they do have a monthly birthday celebration every month where you get free cake. Finally, there are some good people that work there.

Now that I have given you the positives of Enterprise, let's give you the other side of the coin. First, Enterprise pays well below average. To expect for a company to be able to pay MT's $30,000/year and accountants $32,000/year is ridiculous. The average starting salary for accountants is $45,000/year and they wonder why they have a hard time finding people to work in the accounting department. Second, to pay someone twice as much as someone else for doing the same job is crazy. While I was at Enterprise my job responsibilities were the same as everybody else in my department, yet I was making less than some people and less than half of what one person was making. Can you justify that? Speaking of justification, can you please justify why Matt Lawson can get a commission bonus of $48,000 on one paycheck? I didn't make that in an entire year with the company. Finally, the people that are "the bosses" in the company spend half of their time goofing off. I remember when HR (you know who I'm talking about) was complaining about having a very long and stressful day. To my amazement I found out that they had spent all day at Garden Ridge buying gifts and decorations to decorate the Christmas Tree in the office. Who cares about the employees who are willing to slit their own throat so they can leave. One final note, if you are a level III or higher, learn to use your own cell phone. It's not brain surgery, read the manual or call the 1-800 number. You all act like you have never used a cell phone before.

To sum it up.

1. Alex Omar is the one thing keeping that place alive.
2. The people in the accounting department are too good for that company.
3. The area managers are cool.
4. The branch managers are cool, but you have to hold their hand in everything b/c they act like this is their first time doing anything.
5. Remarketing is awesome. They are the ones that are actually making the money in the region.
6. The RVP is actually not a bad guy, he just doesn't know what he is doing.

Don't you find it odd that all of your "performing" employees are leaving? I find it amazing that over 20 people have quit in the past 2 months. To counter your shortage, you have promoted people that are not ready yet. Another great idea from Enterpise. Don't forget: "We'll pick you up."
