I think they meant Diane Newvine, not Francine Mazza. Diane was Mark's girlfriend and was from New York. She had a really bad New York accent and could be a little hard to take. Like some people from the East Coast, she was a little pushy and abrasive.

I think Francine and Rick split up back in 2000, shortly after she had the baby. Rick was pretty shady.
