Will ERAC look good on my resume if I spend a year with them? Anything else I should know before I do this? Thanks for the help! |
Not sure about the basic but expect your hours to be at least 7.30 (possibly earlier) until you are finished. The office will shut at 6 probably but you will be working well after that.
Don't assume you're going to get a lunch hour either. It won't happen. You'll be lucky to get a 5 minute break. You mkay get overtime but there are several threads regarding the doctoring of timesheets to knock your overtime off.
ERAC officially won't let you borrow cars. You can hire them at a discount - which is higher than some standard rates in the UK. Ditto vans etc., but if you have a decent branch manager he may allow you to take one as long as it remains hush-hush.
You can get a discount on new cars but you have to pay for the thing in one go - in the UK anyway.
Will it look good for a year - no. Two years yes - in that time you should be AssistantBranch manager. As a trainee only it can look poor even though it is your first job out of college typically.
