Default Re: Some much needed help

in my experience as a branch manager i had 3 marines work for me and they were all terrible employees, lazy, could not think for themselves, no street smarts, no charisma, could not have fun.. the place is all about immaturity and screwing around. you my friend are 29. i was 28 when i left and i am now a pharma rep. if your 29 a college grad have military experience and are working 2 jobs and looking at erac now. can i ask why? erac is for someone right out of school. i was 24 when i started and interviewed for an area mgr spot in 3.75 years. i figured it out that the area mgr position is not what it once was and i wasted 2 years. i should have left in 2 years and i could have started my pharma rep job earlier. i make 58k car, cell, laptop and 25k bonus ..83k a year and work like 35 hours a week. the job is cake compared to an area mgr or any position at erac for that matter. if your at the bank try and get a financial specialist job. if you go the route of erac plan 1-2 years and kiss everything else in your life goodbye during that time. you should be able to get a better job after those 2 years so if you have a mindset like that go for it but sound unstable and misguided in your thinking. i had no connections when i started and still found something. here is nickels worth of advice go to a recruitment agency pay them 1,000 or whatever they charge and get a job that pays 50 plus. the money spent to pay a recruiter if your worried about connections is well worth being underpaid the entire time at erac. the money would be worth it. pay for your connection. withj your credentials you are worth then what your doing and erac. unless your a moron you would take that job now....
