Re: Thank you for your help If someone is in desperate need for money...working at Enterprise for 1 year would be GREAT...for your RESUME. It is worth it to swallow the pill for a while...I learned a lot...when I say buh-bye to Enterprise in 3 weeks, I will use that experience at my new job...where I will have full benefits paid for...co pays and deductibles payed out by my employer...a car with company credit card...and a generous commission structure with a base salary right around what I made at Enterprise. Don't be fooled...BRM's generally don't make much money. I'm betting $40K is the median...I was an ABRM in a group for over a year...last year, I worked in two of the most profitable branches in my group...yeah, I made a whopping $34K It is CRAZY work...you learn a LOT...but for me, it's only worth it to a certain point. Once you see how much time is sacrificed, you will hate yourself for staying there longer than a year...I will have put in almost 3 years...If I had stayed in my old group another month or so...I would have been a BRM...but I just got to the point where I said there are better jobs out there...I rent to corporate customers who make twice what I do and work less hours than me...they aren't any smarter (well, some are)...so I looked around and found something different. Capitalize on the experience...don't get stuck there! |
