Its so true, my ex manager was a superstar in the area and once his numbers dropped a bit and MT's started leaving, they canned him without notice. My ex area manager was the person that told me "the grass isn't always greener on the other side", and that was in my exit interview. A few months later he was fired as well. This doesn't normally happen at most companies that I know.
