The vast majority of people are going to have that point in which the monetary compensation is worth it. Some people would take the deal if its a penny less while other loyal customers may be willing to switch for 10 or 20 or 30 dollars less. There are those rare few that may not switch. For an extreme example, would you switch if Enterprise rented you a car for a penny a day???? You may not admin. but I would say that a vast majority would. There is always going to be that point in which someone would. I am dying to agree with you on something Admin. Just cause im curious are you using Hertz? From what I understand that they can guarantee a specific make and model, if they dont deliver they give the customer 50 bucks. I think thats pretty cool but they have to have a huge inventory to have a claim like that. I am pretty sure the LAX location has 50,000 cars while the Enterprise there only has a couple thousand. Thats a shitload of cars. Let me know admin. |

I wouldn't think that this would be something that the government cared about. I think they would want people to get new cars as quick as they can so they can charge for taxes. I would assume this has more to do with agreements made with the dealerships since rental car companies buy the cars in bulk and get deep discounts for buying thousands of cars at a time. Ill find out tomorrow from remarketing though. |

| Keeping the car for a year? OH MY GOSH, I worked at the Seattle Airport and we had a cars with over 45,000 miles on them all the time. Car sales and remarketing said they were worth nothing on the market so we would keep them in fleet. IT SUCKED putting a customer intho those cars. It had been a weekend special far too long and it looked and smelled like it. BRUTAL! The cars that had any value were resold quickly |

| I can't read every single post. But I'm gonna assume Admin is single. Just like ERAC significant others, I cannot possibly imagine ANY woman on earth marrying a guy devoted to a website like this. (or in contrast, marrying a person devoted to working 70 hours a week) And don't tell me you aren't. That "Pic" video wasn't out for more than a day and you had a Blog all set up. Face it, eventually he's gonna find a girl (or a guy, who knows where he swings) and this website is just gonna fall into the abiss. And the thing that makes me laugh the most, is all the idiots that look up to him are gonna be left to jerk each other off. |

Neal: Those aren't pillows! __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay |
