I ALWAYS WILL TYPE IN ALL CAPS IN MEMORY OF THE OLD MS01 SYSTEMS AND THE WAY AREA MANAGERS USED TO GET THEIR MESSAGE ACROSS WHEN THEY WANTED TO YELL AT THE BRANCH MANAGER VIA THE PRINTER MESSAGE SYSTEM.

HELLO, I AM A PART TIME DRIVER THAT HAS WORKED FOR ERAC FOR OVER 15 YEARS. I HAVE DONE AND SEEN IT ALL. PLEASE TAKE IT FROM ME, THE FAILING ENTERPRISE PERSON THAT CREATED THIS SITE HAS IT COMPLETELY WRONG! HE DOES NOT RELIZE THAT ENTERPRISE IS AN INSURANCE REPLACEMENT COMPANY. THEY CAN NEVER SAY NO TO A CUSTOMER THAT BOOKS A RESERVATION. THAT IS THEIR PROMISE TO THEIR BIGGEST ACCOUNTS, STATE FARM, ALLSTATE, ETC ETC. THEY TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND TRY TO ACCOMEDATE ALL CUSTOMERS. WHEN OLE FAILING ADMIN GUY GOT PUSHED ASIDE AND WAS GIVEN A PICK UP TRUCK INSTEAD OF A CAR IT WAS FOR THE GREATER GOOD. ERAC'S CUSTOMER SERVICE RATING FOR THE ENTIRE COMPANY IS 80% COMPLETELY SATISFIED. THAT IS A HUGE DEAL. SORRY THAT OLE FAILING GOT HIS FEELINGS HURT BUT THAT IS JUST THE WAY THINGS ARE. TO CREATE A SITE LIKE THIS TELLS ME ALOT ABOUT THE PERSON. I JUST CAN IMAGE THIS GUY COMPLAINING ALL THE TIME TO BIG CORPORATIONS......HE IS AT MCDONALD'S AND HE SPILLLS HOT COFFE ON HIS PANTS...IT IS MCDONALD'S FAULT...HE SPENDS TOO MUCH TIME IN THE CHECK IN WALMART BUYING HIS POCKET PROTECTOR...IT IS WALMARTS FAULT! LITTLE DOES ADMIN REALIZE IS THAT HE IS HURTING THE LITTLE GUY. ANDY TAYLOR HAS HIS MONEY AND NOTHING OLE ADMIN DOES WILL CHANGE THAT. HOWEVER, HE WILL EFFECT THE LITTLE GUY IN THE TRENCHES TRYING TO EARN A LIVING. ESPECIALLY ON A THURSDAY MORNING AND THE POOR SOUL HAS NO RIDES AND ADMIN IS RANTING AND RAVING AT THE COUNTER DAMANDING A FREE UPGRADE.

NOT AT ALL ! I LOVE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS ITS FLAWS, HOWEVER, IT IS A GENERALLY GOOD COMPANY. ADMIN SOUNDS LIKE SHE IS THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT LIKES TO TURN THE SCREWS ON THE LITTLE GUY. ESPECIALLY THE SERVICER...... HOW MANY TIMES HAS ADMIN THIS YEAR FILED A COMPLAINT ON HOW HE WAS SERVICED. MY GUESS IS OVER 10 TIMES! meh, i suspect that you are a corp clone, about the only ones that stick up for erac's less than stellar business practices...this is how i look at it. I work for a company that pays for me to rent a car about once a month. they reimburse me so i chose were to go...having worked at erac and seeing how they treat their "customers" reservations, i'd never book a deal with them, for fear that i'd never get the car i ordered, i'd be late, etc.
it's a fucked up business model, taking orders knowing that you cannot fill them...and this defeats your rant, it's simply bad business.
wait and see, as other companies start to chew into erac's insurance monopoly, erac will have to change it's ways in order to "woo" new customers and get repeat business...you can treat customers like shit when you are on top, but when you falter a bit, you'll have to change or get gobbled up

HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN ESQI OF 80%. AS YOU KNOW, EVERY CUSTOMER GETS A SURVEY AFTER THEY RENT A CAR. COMPLETELY SATISIFIED, SOMEWHAT SATISFIED, ETC ETC. IF THE CUSTOMER CHECKS OFF ANY THING BUT COMPLETELY SATISFIED IT GOES AGAINST THE BRANCH.(I THINK THEY DO PHONES CALLS NOW...THAT IS WHAT MY MANAGER SAYS) ANYWAY, IF ERAC IS DOING SUCH A BAD JOB...WHY DOES IT NOT REFLECT POORLY IN ESQI???I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU CAN'T HACK HANDLING A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE NO CAR. Actually my branch used to change the address in the computer and send surveys to themselves or family members to elevate the score.

That's why you are only a part time driver...because you can't hack it. You don't know what it was like and never will. Don't pretend. You are only fooling yourself. Try stepping up to full time driver and maybe one day you can become an intern or MT. Then you'll be back here venting...IN CAPS!

They call 30 random customers from your branch per month. This is hardly a reliable sample size considering that there are that many customers in and out of a busy office in a couple of hours. I believe a truly reliable sample size is at least 120 people. At least, that is what I learned in statistics and not from ERAC...
