Default What is Enterprise's Official Stance on this site?

Just like the question I posted states, what is the company's "official" take on this site? Are there any times any officials have attempted to meet in person or set up a meeting of sorts to address the site?

Former slave of Group 20, Region WW Detroit.

Their public relations department likes to say, when asked, "it's impossible to verify the accuracy of anonymous posts", to which I reply, "especially if you've never tried, and when you'd fire any non-anonymous employees on the site".

At one point Andy had to comment in the USA Today article when asked about it, but I think their official stance is to ignore it and hope it goes away. We've been here for four years so I don't think that's working.

At the beginning, a couple of "Vice Presidents" came out to see me and were totally worthless (offering me a free rental and spinning the issues), but after that all I've heard is when their lawyers try something stupid.

It's obvious that these are legitimate issues, but that correcting them would harm their profits, so they just bear it.

I don't think it would harm their profits as much as it would require them to think outside of their 1-dimensional thoughts. I mean, we all know the travel industry and restaraunts overbook, but this company goes beyond anything I have ever seen or been a part of. It would improve their turnover, increase morale and efficiency, and be a good PR campaign for this god-awful company,

By taking no stance, it only reinforces that they know it exists and choose to ignore it.

I think ERAC will dig in harder just to spite this site. Obviously they have been supplied with many names and many offenses and do nothing about it. As perverted as it sounds, I think the company will reward anyone who is called out on this site for unethical or illegal behavior just to stick it to this site. I cannot prove that theory, it is just a thought. I think we all know how those twisted bastards operate.

ERAC can't afford to fire people. They don't have enough qualified people to run branches and for upcoming openings. Also, they all want that Exceptional award for retention. I know in 09 last month they had over 50 interviews and only got 4 people to bite. They are hurting for people in 09 and can't fire anyone.

I heard they're giving away vacations if you bring in referrals before February or something insane like that... hows about that high retention rate?

This is nothing new for companies... But ERAC in Group 50 did this in 2000 with GP32 and San Francisco group. Just another insentive.

Their stance on this site is the same stance they take on employee complaints: ignore their existence and pray they go away quietly.
