The back and forth between Theo and Brian was hilarious. Brian was the TYPICAL green bleeder that quoted their ranking and recruitiment of college grads...cliche and cliche. It was so funny that Theo would thank him for his comments and just effectively tackle every point that was made. I just found it funny how polite Theo was to such an obvious tool.

You fucking moron, that is exactly why competition is creeping up on you. Your whole ad slogan is "pick enterprise, we'll pick you up". Not a service but an expectation! Please stay at Enterprise and continue to say one thing and do another. Fuck head.

Dude. I'm on your side, pal. I don't like ERAC, either. I just hate when customers EXPECT you to pick them up an hour away, five minutes before you close, without a reservation, and in a blinding hailstorm.

Yeah, it's an expectation, not a binding contract that ERAC will pick you up under ANY circumstances.

ERAC loves to brag to people that they are a 10 minute drive or less from 90% of the population in the United States. When they spout that kind of crap and spend millions upon millions of dollars to promote the pick up service, it is a very reasonable expectation for someone to get picked up by your company. As your former GRM 'the J-Mac' would say, "All this person (Theo Moore) did was exactly what we train a customer to do on our commercials, and we couldn't get it right." This Theo Moore person did exactly what the multi-million dollar commercial suggests he do, call Enterprise for a pick-up, and Heather lied to him and told him the service was not available on a Saturday. Theo has every reason to be justifiably upset.

Are you kidding? The guy's a tool. Check out what the posts say about him in the Atlanta thread. It's no coincidence 03EE has the WORST turnover in the entire company! That's right, the WORST!

I find it interesting how nobody points out that there are geographic restrictions with the pickup policy. For example, the office I work at has to have a policy that we don't offer a pickup more than 5 miles from our office. We also don't offer the pickup service on Saturday. We only have 2 people on that day and can't spare one for a 45 minute ride to BFE. There is a good reason for the policy.

Reason one, at my location 5 miles could take as much as 30 minutes one way. Thats over an hour to pickup one customer. I have 3 people that can pickup customers. If three people call to get picked up at 8:00 in the morning I have to tell the other 6 people that want cars to fuck off for an hour while I get three other customers.

Reason two, Cost effective?? Enterprise is not an emergency taxi service. If that were the case we would charge people for the service. The pickup service is a free service offered in the local area of the branch you call. The national ads and the website both state the restrictions on the pickup service. We lose over 1500 dollars a month at my branch offering the FREE Pickup to our customers.

I can certainly understand the disappointment you have with the service you recieved. However, I get shitty hamburgers at McDonalds all the time. And they don't even offer to bring my food to the table. Imagine that a company that doesn't even offer to go above and beyond to help out a customer.

My advice is to look forward to your next rental. There are just as many horror stories out there about Hertz, Avis, Budget, and all the others. Be smart, shop around and get over it.

Good luck

Everyone is missing the point. The point is that it sucks to work for ERAC because they advertise that "we'll pick you up." Yes- customers do expect you to come get them 25 minutes away when they call at 5:54. And yes, if your branch manager finds out that you told a customer that you were not able to pick that customer up, he, from the bar with a beer in his hand, will tell your ass to take care of it. You will get home at about 7:45 and you haven't even been to the bar. THEN, you get to come back and do it again tomorrow. People- the only option is to quit. You have zero control over your business. You must understand that. Do not believe the hype. There will be no six figures. You cannot hack it and that is a good thing. People who can hack it are confused and warped. You do not want to hack it. Hacking it prolongs your misery.
