Default "Unregistered" will now work again

Hello All,

As you may remember, somebody registered the username "Unregistered" a month or two ago, and as a result anyone wishing to post as an unregistered member was forced to change their username from the system default of "Unregistered".

I've decided I want to streamline the posting process as much as possible, so I've renamed the "Unregistered" username to "UnregisteredToo", which should allow anyone to post a message while unregistered using the default username of "Unregistered".

I'd be glad to hear your comments on this.

This is scandalous! I'm outraged!

I'm sure it's tantamount to something or other.

You can be sure I'm NOT completely satisfied and will register my complaint when I receive my FailingEnterprise ESQI call!

hahaha

Sorry to screw everyone up.

PS, "UnregisteredToo" is very, very lame. You're a smart guy, couldn't you think of anything better?

I thought eliminating the option of signing your post as unregisetered added to the creativity of some of the posts.

Well, I think it added to the creativity in the creating of temporary usernames, but it also added a bit of a "cost" to posting. I'd like people to register, and if they don't, to use a consistent, creative username, and if they don't even want to do this, I still want to make posting as fast and easy as possible.

But I reserve the right to get smarter. Let's experiment with this for a while and see how it goes.

Wow! I haven't heard this little gem in a long time!

?????, since you do reserve the right to be smarter, why don't you consider making registration a requirement before one can post? OH! That's right. Because it wouldn't work.

Did ?????'s Father make you any smarter? Until he came along, we didn't have the Image Verification thing on the post page. You also used to be ten times more vocal. What happened?

Registering would blow my cover since I am allegedly 10 different characters on this site.

Thank you ????? for this since it has lead to more credible usernames and posts than ever before. This site kicks butt and will for many years to come.

The line "But I reserve the right to get smarter" is a sign that maybe ????? has a sense of humor!
