No chatroom. We tried a shoutbox a couple of months ago but it didn't get much use.

What does a chatroom offer that the discussion board doesn't already do?

the fact that you can chat with people who are already ONLINE instead of just leaving them messages like an ansering machine

Yeah a chatroom would be cool. The only downside is people might accidentally give away their identity when you have instant comunication.
