I work at Corporate (Gp98), and this is obviously the most retarding thing I have ever read. The company is not a publically traded company...it is privately owned by the Taylor's (read: no stocks). So if you are going to rant, please a least drop in a kernel of truth here or there.

In the three years I have been at corporate, I have had opportunities, training, and reward for performance. Is this the case with each and every employee? Of course not. Does this mean that everything Enterprise does is right? Of course not. But so far, it is right for me and my family.

Admin, people at corporate do read this, I know very high up people for a fact. I personally recieved a phone call once accusing me of posting to this site, I was accused because I had brought the allegations to them and they appeared here also. They seemed very concerned with the reputations of the people, the postings were about. I asked them to take similar concern in the matters at hand, if the actions never occurred, then reputations would not be touched.

I'd be curious to hear how Steve Weidner's reputation is doing. It's been six months since I described that meeting he led and not one person has even so much as suggested that I didn't describe that meeting accurately.

He isn't important enough for the corporate office to even care about. He is too small potatoes, they only care about the GM's reputations, and if there is any blatant exposure of sexual harrassment without action or any blatant discrimination. If you are looking for any of that, you should jump on Chip Vance, what he has tolerated is deplorable. He is the Gm of Group 43 but I am quite sure his days are numbered.

Starting in admin in St. Louis, it's possible to become a level 2 as a NatRes supervisor but going much higher is tough without daily rental experience - unless you're a grade A asskisser.

I only go to Corporate a few times a year for training but it scares me. All the people dressing so similarly is disturbing. A little color never hurt anyone!

I'm starting a job hunt soon!

Does Daryl Barnes still work there? I heard he had a heart attack. Probably caused by gp05 car sales. Is he OK? What is his story?

Oh, really? What's his new title and area? If this is true, Enterprise has truly lost their moral compass.

Hey, you know what else is fun? Search for "Steve Weidner" on Google!

I just read your note to Steve Weidner. Of course this type of training got him promoted. I worked at the GP01 airport office for about a year. Since it can be a bit tougher to build rapport with a customer that walks through the door instead of being picked up, we were trained on the following tactics.
1. Hi there, that's a very nice(watch, suit, laptop, etc...). Don't you think you should be driving something a little nicer than an escort?
Customer Objection: But my reservation was for a standard size car.
Response: Yes sir and the four door escort is a standard size, the two door is the compact.
2. They're just cleaning your neon up right now, but I do have this nice Camry ready to go.
Customer Objection:I really don't want to pay anymore.
No problem, why don't you take the Camry now, and switch into the Neon later today. If you keep the Camry, it's only $5.00 per day.

I could go on like this for hours, but I have a great job now and I should get back to it.

You really need help. Your obsession with Weidner is unhealthy.
So he got promoted, so what? That must really irk your little pickle eh, ??????

Side note: Go ahead and delete this, I'll just post it again.
