I know someone who emailed him and Andy sent a personal email back! It was concerning a time they had crossed paths before, so it was actually surely him that replied and not a secretary or anything. Pretty cool for such a "big guy" to take the time to respond to an average joe customer - on a Saturday, nonetheless!

Back in the day when I was working at ERAC, I emailed ol' Andy and asked him to send me a signed picture as a joke just to see what would happen. Well, about a month later, I received a manilla envelope at my branch with a signed 5x7 photo from Mr. Taylor himself. Even though I've since left ERAC, I'll always keep that signed photo as a memory of my wonderful (note the sarcasm) times at ERAC. The fact that Andy has many 5x7 photos printed of himself makes me wonder how many people have done the same thing.

Back in my days in GP51, there was a brand new MT who was setting up their MS01 distribution list for car sales, and accidently listed Jack Taylor, instead of Jack Talley. 10 car sale leads later, she got a message from her branch manager asking her to please remove Mr. Taylor from the list. Apparently, Jack had his secretary call someone at GP 51's main office, who called the RVP, who called the RRM, who called the Area Mgr., who in-turn called the branch manager. All of that instead of Jack typing- "Congrats on the car sale leads...now please remove me from your damn list."

One of these days, after I get home from getting hammered with all of my co-workers, I'm going to drunk-dial Andy and ask him for a ride home. That'll be funny. Or maybe I'll do it from my area manager's cell phone, while we're at the bar- that would be even better.

| Well am I ever glad I found this! I just made a phone call to Andy and sent an email to him about a shady, dishonest Enterprise in Austin, Texas. When I called the local number (512-912-0332) to find the name and number for an area manager, I was first given a fax number and then called back, and was given the number to the Texas School for the Deaf!! The Enterprise here charged my credit card an unauthorized amount for a credit card that was given to them for incidentals only! Lily who work(ed) there is a royal pain and wouldn't verify that a Body Shop had agreed to pay any extra charges.... We will see if Andy responds at all.... Thanks for his contact info!
