| Well who ever posted the statement that he is making something up has no idea what they are talking about or has no idea about loss control at enterprise. They will try to collect any money they can to help with the damage waiver reserves. Every office has there own damage waiver reserves and if they can find any wrong doing or anyone to point a finger at they will. I can tell you one that that if you name and your wifes name is on the isurance policy for the personal car they would not be able to pursue your insurance just because you cant be liable for your own auto claim. That means if you have two cars insured and you run into one of them with the other you have to file two claims under collison. That means two deductibles apply. Damage waiver does not have a deductible therefore you should not have to pay a thing. The amount that you paid for the damage waiver should cover your cost for the insurance. You will pay your first deductible to get you personal car fied and none on the rental car. |

| Simply call the area manager tell him the situation, if he does not handle it call the city manager and if their is still no help call the corporate office and tell the GM of the group of your concerns. He will take care of this if all other avenues fail, simply tell him you will never rent from Enterprise again and you will tell everyone you know not to rent from them as well. Let's face it Enterprise will bow down because they are begging people to walk through those doors, beacuse of poor customer service, forcing auxillary products down peoples throats, and the dirty cars they rent to customers as well as the downgrade of cars to customers that were promised bigger car classes. My answer is simply get this resolved and go to Hertz where you will get better service and cleaner cars, as well as a professional company.. |

And the guy who has his wife backed into the rental car? Tell your wife to take the cucumber out of her twat when she is backing up. It will help her concentrate better and not hit anything! Cheers! |

| No, first of all I do not work at Hertz! Second of all it looks like I have another typical Erac employee who thinks he is perfect in all he does.. Let me guess, A newly graduated college kid who thinks he knows everything about running a business, and let me guess another erac employee in which this is their very first job after graduation.. I hope you don't manage people, because I am sure you would not be successful at this, like most other erac employees who work their first job out of college and don't learn the real meaning of managing their employees, and just think about themselves. By the sounds of it you need to learn how to use english words, instead of all of this profanity.. Just goes to prove you don't care a bit about customers feelings.. I am sure you have an ESQI of 70.. Have a good night!!! |

| You have to be the most repulsive person I have been in contact with. You could never be a rvp, and if you are this would be a good explanation as to why Enterprise is a failing company. Here is some advise ,people that have intelligence don't need to use profanity to get their point across, rather they can just speak in plain old english, It just makes you look more professional. I don't even believe Erac would put a idiot like you in charge, not even a company like erac would put somebody in charge of running a group with a mouth like that, so unprofessional!!!! Get a life and stop pretending you are somebody that will never be, and go back to being an order taking MT......HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!! |

1)Bought the CDW 2)Your wife hit the rental car on accident If this is what happened, permitting any specific wordage on the Terms and Conditions, then you should not have to pay for this. Hopefully you still have the copy (yellow or pink) of the signed contract. Read the back which includes the specific terms and conditions and read the part about how the CDW becomes void (i.e. drink and driving, off-roading, etc.) Get a copy of your damage report if you dont already have one. As long as you dont violate any of the terms and conditions as it pertains to your CDW then it should be covered. Hiring a lawyer may not be the best idea just because it is a small amount. More than likely this is something that would get handled through small claims court so hiring a lawyer would just be throwing away money. If your comprehensive deductible is $1000 or less than you will want to call your insurance company if this gets anymore out of hand. Good luck. |

| Hekiliko'olau is the only one who got this one right... Damage waiver waives the renter of responsibility for the rental car. The reason an accident report is done is to give loss control another party to pursue in the collision who is NOT waived of responsibility for their actions to the ERAC car. It is a gray area because the people are different (renter and his spouse), but in most states the entity is the same (the marriage). In principle, the renter should not be held responsible, but they are trying to pursue your wife. Two suggestions: Contact the Area Manager of the branch. Most are gate keepers that want to resolve any problems before they go higher up. Second, if your frequency of rental is more than this 4 days this year and you truly purchase DW, make it a point that you always purchase the protection. ERAC loves insurance purchasers and they want to keep you buying more of it in the future. Essentially, DW is a gamble. In this case (and again in principle), the customer won and ERAC should cut their losses. You are likely dealing with an overzealous loss control coordinator who is trying to make his/her collection numbers for the month. A smart branch manager or area manager would recognize that this only costs his/her office $83 a month to pay off and would lobby for loss control to let the customer off of the hook. That's about the cost of a lunch to a few service advisors. Sheesh. I'm curious of the outcome... let us know what transpires. |
