Default Paying for the dent

I recently rented an Enterprise vehicle. Had to get the bumper fixed from backing up into another vehicle. My car has been in and out of the shop 8 times. So the company rents the vehicles for me. I returned it to the company. Three days later, Enterprise calls and says there's a dent in the door. I know nothing about that. They told me I owe them for my deductible. Called the ins. co. who said not to pay anything until they see pics. Today I got a bill for the dent totalling $600.00! Some dent! Ins. said still not to pay for it. What chances do I have since I returned it to another place and it wasn't seen for three days? I would have gotten that fixed if it had been there.

Took it to body shop to fix bumper. Three days later, Ent. calls me and tells me about a dent in door.

If they waited 3 days to call you, that car may have been rented one to three more times.ERAC did not walk around the car when you returned, sounds like
ERAC is shit out of luck. HELL NO DON'T PAY THEM A DIME. You can expect ERAC to threaten you a little. Demand to speak with the area rental manager or the general manager of that group.

Sounds like the BIG E is playing the same ole song and dance. Do not fall for this lie.

Thanks. Right now my ins. co. is handling it. Just got a bill from Enterprise for over $600.00. For a dent in a door! Ins. co. said don't do anything yet. Wish me luck!

With hourly rates at body shops rivaling those of lawyers', that sounds about right.
