| I asked this earlier on another thread, but does anyone know of any customer that has ever collected a dime from a PAI claim? Do any of our customers even know what they are getting? |

Good question. I went 7 1/2 years and never had anyone make a PAI claim. Doens't earn the company much either. Of the $3 it was charged, something like $1.90 went to the insurance company underwriter and just over a buck to the branch. |

| On the contrary, I was told the exact opposite. I was taught that Enterprise makes $0.70 per dollar of PAI sold. So if PAI sells for $3, then the branch makes $2.10. That's why management pushes so hard to sell it with waiver. High profit margin but extremely difficult to sell on its own, so it gets lumped with CDW as "dubbs". __________________ Enterprise will always be around after you leave, for you, there will always be life after Enterprise |

| None of my customers have ever collected. I'm sure someone throughout Enterprises long and storied history has. But it would be insignificant and not worth mentioning. So Enterprise makes a killing on the stuff. Any ERACers care to defend? __________________ Enterprise will always be around after you leave, for you, there will always be life after Enterprise |

| No comments? That's what I thought! |

| i remember once a loss control n00bie told a customer that had rented from me with a "full boat" that they had some sorta coverage thru pai and were owed some money. lol the customer didn't even know they had pai...i never understood wtf pai even really was, and same with 95% of erac employees |
| |||
| I thought the only thing PAI was good for was adding to your PAC score! Nobody wanted to be know as the "splitter" |
| |||
| Very true, but this is a scam for the extra $3, how sad they are. |
| |||
| Alas, I have a PAI story. An employee rented a vehicle to go up to the mountains and took the PAI. They ended up breaking their leg on the mountain and filled an insurance claim to get some of their medical expenses paid for. So in this case them taking the PAI paid off. In 5 years with the company this was the only case I heard of. Not to shabby considering the thousands of contracts that I wrote along with all the others in the branch. |
