Update: The “paperwork” from Enterprise came yesterday. Because and the SLC, Maureen Ringrose, and I talked in crypto-legal terms (Me: “I talked with an attorney and he says you could not prove this happened in court…I deny the claim.” Ringrose: “We are charging you with this.”), I was expecting a summons or at least something written by an Enterprise lawyer.

Instead, it was another letter from Ringrose, this time saying ERC would turn the matter over to a collection agency, which isn’t enough to frighten me into paying. Sigh, I’ll talk to the attorney again.

Has nothing to be with being stupid...the fact is, these things don't happen on their OWN...perhaps I have to spell it out to make it clearer to you. YOU did something to the vehicle that MADE these things happen, So, fess up and just get over it.

Right, they can happen because of bad engineering, mechanical error or faulty maintenance. Something was obviously wrong with the car. My point is that I didn’t do anything to it and have nothing to “fess up” to.

If you don’t think the temperature from the exhaust can get hot enough for a muffler to weld up or a parking light is too strongly built in there for it to fall out, call Enterprise Group 48 because they seem to have bought it, line and sinker. Because they've grasped at staws twice to concoct an explanation, they could use a smart cookie like yourself.

He's usually good for a quick snip, usually negative. There's never any real insight from him that I've ever seen. In fact, I don't remember a post he actually, truly shared a well thought response and made his position clear. Just short one or two sentence quips from this guy. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Click his profile and look at his previous posts. The proof is in the pudding. That's just how he's wired. If you let it roll of your back, it's actually quite amusing.
