The DNR list as it is called is a joke because if a customer owes money to another branch and rents as a customer with a private plane then the list is over-looked!! The branch could care less if that customers owes another branch.

not true. it might get overlooked because often time the branches dont put in DL info till they close the ticket. in which case i would email the other branch the customers cc info so they can collect. its more of a loophole oh and last time i checked, i havent had any of my FBO customers short changing me. if they can afford a private plan they usually pay their rental bill

Roof damage can really be extensive and you don't even think to look for it. I bought a rental van from a local ERAC and never thought to look on the roof because the rest of the truck was perfect. Weeks later I was up on a ladder painting my house, and saw that there were 8 foot long rusty deep gouges in it. You just have to look everywhere, but what about in the case of under a rental car? I've read stories of renters being charged with undercarriage damage and no one gets under a rental car before signing the contract, you'd get your clothes too dirty. Again, is the prospect of "prior damage" going to be an issue because you signed the contract? probably so.
