| Thanks for owning up and fixing the tire.. The light is probably from a messed up or damaged tire pressure sensor.. Or it just wasn't reset.. Good luck! Blackjack.. Why is race coming up? Amazing! The black cartoon "Curtis" was Downing white people too... I dot understand why blacks can be racist without consequence |

| This comment is not a rental car one, but recently I had to change a tire on our Audi sedan. While there I noticed the brake pads were thin, so I replaced them. But when I pulled the car out of the garage, the antilock brake warning light was on. It took awhile but I learned that I had disturbed a simple wire connection to the antilock sensor and all it took was removal and reconnection to resolve it. Same with the driver's side window not opening. Sometimes connections just get disturbed and the flow of the signal is compromised enough to trip a warning light. Audi seems to have more of these connection issues than they should. I wonder if all it took was a reconnection of the sensor wire, would the customer be burdened with a repair bill ? |
