Default need advice..already looked at prev. threads

Hello

I am currently going at it with enterprise reg. a rental car that had all sorts of issues...it was scratched up pretty badly, the brake lights were flickering on and off the whole time it was driven, the remote control was missing a button on it, and the car 'shook' at about 50 mph. The car was a 2008 model with about 26000 miles on it. The issue is regarding the mirror on the passenger side, which fell off after the door was closed. It just fell off and hit the ground. This same mirror was rattling and shaking the whole car drive, and was not something that was seen during the walkaround before it was rented. This car was obviously in a wreck and was poorly maintained. All other damages were documented during the walkaround. It was a holiday weekend and nothing could be done.

I was given a report saying that I owe over $300 for the glass/mirror that fell off after the door was closed. The car obviously had issues before it was rented to me.

Communication with enterprise itself is a lost cause..no one knows anything, they claim to never received my letters sent certified mail which I received a stub for, email addresses dont work for the specialist who is assigned to my case, she told me on the phone she doesnt get back to phone calls, and she doesnt check voice mails. The obvious runaround.

Does anyone have any email addresses or contacts or suggestions?

I am frustrated about the runaround, and have a letter I would like to send out. I already requested maintenance and past 15 car rental agreements records 2 months ago which were ignored, now the damage recovery unit says they gave the case to their manager for review.

Any help would be appreciated

Default resolved

My issue resolved a day after i sent out some emails. The enterprise rep. who contacted me was very apologetic and she dropped the case and was very polite.

If anyone needs any advice, feel free to contact me, and thank you to everyone who posted all this tremendously helpful information.

I am dealing with many of the same issues you encountered. I'd like to know who you contacted to resolve your issues.
