BOGUS Transmission damage!!!

As for the transmission they sent me a letter from the auto body place stating that "The vehicle was driven to our facility with a crack in the transmission case. The crack looked fresh as there was no sign of dirt or road grime in the crack. The vehicle was badly leaking transmission fluid and could not have been driven for very long in that condition."

When I filled it up before returning it all the fluid levels were good.

Any thoughts... Please share them, any help is great help.

Did you fill up the car on the ERAC lot? Could you have done damage on the way back from getting gas? There is no way to give you a definitive answer as to when the damage occurred or if you could have done it.....oh wait there is. THE SHOP SAID YOU DID IT ASSHOLE. Sux 4 u.

They dropped the claim anyways because I have more time and money than they want to waste on a false damage claim, which wont ever go anywhere with a judge involved.....

No court even, bummer.
They just didnt have proof, that I did any damages or even when the damages happened.
This is a regular thing for them, credit card companies will tell anyone that... So will lawyers.

If you didnt cause the damage dont give up fight them and IF you should get to the court level just present enough knowledge about cars and the company, most judges will dismiss this type of B.S.

I just shut the loss control guy down and I never got to see the judge, bummer shit city.
