Re: BOGUS Transmission damage!!! Sounds a lot like the car that they tried to go after the shop who had last did a LOF. Couldn't get anything from the customer, so why not try the shop owner's insurance co.? The insurance underwriter did an investigation and got 4 different stories from 3 employees (apparently 1 couldn't remember what she said the 1st time). Claim was denied. Site manager called up the shop owner whining about what he was supposed to do with a damaged car with no one to blame or pay. The shop owner's alleged response was OH WELL. I think I would have had a few more things to say. From the posts by DOM182 he or someone like him should have been there. Proper records might have been kept and the individual (if other than an ERAC employee) was responsible, they would have known who to go after. From the posts from an unregistered, there appears to be so much pressure to rent, rent, rent, corners are being cut, improper (if any) training is being done which is leading to some big troubles. |
