I'm in the process of reversing the charge now. The credit card company just send me a letter telling me that they are in the process of "researching" the dispute. I started this dispute over a month ago. While the dispute is being researched, I don't have to pay finance charges on the amount ERAC charged to my card (fortunately).

I sent a letter explaining exactly what ERAC did to the credit card company, so it should be pretty cut-and-dried. Also, I am going to go speak to a lawyer, since free legal representation is a perk of my job.

Unbelievable how this company is run. I wish I would have known about this website before I rented a car.

I would just report the card stolen and forget about it.

Reporting it stolen woud not be very bright. It's called fraud and I do believe a contract that has his signature on it would rather prove it was indeed fraud
