| Did you have a reservation or did you just show up at the dealership expecting a loaner and they ran out so they called ERAC and ERAC was busy so they could not clean the car in time? If that is the case then yes it is a possibility. See unfortunately ERAC is not like a hotel where they can tell people too bad you can only check in at 4 and you must check out at noon. They have check in and out every minute they are open so if someone keep a car longer then they have to wait for that to come back since they can't just have cars sitting around not earning. If the dealership did not let them know that there was someone coming prior to your coming out there then the dealership is involved as well (that covers the dirty car part). As far as you BOTH missing damage the "17 year old" missed damage yes but you did as well my friend and you were more invested in that damage check than the employee. Customers are not always right because customers are idiot humans as well. They never wrote and accident report so they obviously saw that the damage was noted meaning that someone was doing their job and checking in cars. The employees do not walk around with the contracts of cars they rented so for him to memorize every bumper he went over previously could be considered ludicrous by some. As far as having all damage fixed, if ERAC had every little thing fixed then there would be no cars to rent. If the damage is as miniscule then do you think it is smarter for ERAC to A) fix it and have it sit at a shop for a week behind all of the other damaged cars they have or B) rent it until it is time to be sold/deleted and then have it fixed for the person purchasing it and expecting to wait a few days to a week for the car? HMMMMMMMMMM. Could you be considered to be a douche bag by some? I would say yes because you are basing the entire level of service from a company on one minor incident that you had contributory fault towards. You yourself missed that same miniscule damage as well and the mistake was quickly rectified. I actually think the office did a good job because there was a customer service issue and in that "moment of truth" they set it right by researching (which they are supposed to do in private) and telling you that you were not at fault. Sounds to me like you need a hug. __________________ "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt"-Abe Lincoln |

What other things do you do with your superior intelligence? Do you bang chicks without condoms are just hope you're lucky and the don't have AIDS? Do you pet wet dogs and just hope you're lucky and you don't get rabies? Do you share your heroin needles without your junkie friends and just hope your lucky and they don't have hepatitis? Do you post your experiences about when you were a dumbass at a rental company and just hope you're lucky and you won't get called out? As for class- fuck you. Who said we had any class? |

And I must agree with the many othe posters here. You missed the dent. And you should've gone over the car more thoroughly. But you did not. Just be lucky they had documented the damage. As for cancelling your credit card, well, then they would send it to collections. Someone as anal as yourself probably wouldn't want that blemish coming up on his credit report. Have a nice life. |

I am far too busy to refuse the only car available to me because it was dirty, I know more now and would be more critical in the future..but it should have been researched before I was confronted with the dent. I agree you dont have class, hence, you work at enterprise washing cars..sweet! |

| you want to treat the customers with respect like we do .other day arseole,i mean customer comes in to rent a small car, starts being awkard. any way eventuallly hires a car.so my mate offers to get it out of the compound for him.while i.m keeping the twat talking my mate pisses on the drivers seat and kicks in the rear light.any way customer takes car as he.s in a hurry.comes back next day saying car has a water leak as his seat is damp and wants to return car.no problem i said, just a small matter of the damage to the rear lamp.last time he,ll come into our branch and be a twat |

| This person is/was a customer of your company. He has the right to complain. You don't have the right to call him names. It doesn't sound like he berated anyone at the branch, or was rude at all. The funny thing is that his original post and tone wasn't close to being as bitter toward Enterprise as yours was toward him. When you speak to someone this way, it just confirms your arrogant attitude. Maybe it isn't arrogance. I don't know you. Maybe you have just been doing this job too long and it has eaten at you to the point that you react in an extreme manner to criticism. I am sure you get tired of it, but if this behavior is the result, maybe it is time to move on. It makes me think this site is working. Every satisfied customer you have, just goes home after the rental and goes about his/her life. Every customer you treat like you are treating this person, goes out and tells 10 of his friends about how he was treated and what you are saying to him on this website. So, 10 more people know about this website, and they will probably be shocked by what they see, and tell 10 of their friends. Do you really want a bunch of people who are potential customers reading words that you write calling someone vulgar names. Avis and Hertz must be licking their chops when they see this stuff. |

| AVIS just opened up near me as a matter of fact...and after that little early morning run around...and oh yeah this huge hate site...I would never rent from Enterprise again, why risk it? It wasnt that the branch people were nasty to me, it was that their documentation and systems are not working to prevent these occurances. Write ups in the times serves as evidance this is a big problem at enterprise and it would be in their best interests to fix it. Jumping on an unsatisfied customer to tell them he is stupid and to fuck off...and a rant about aids and condoms only makes it look all too apparent that enterprise does not attract the best people, hell not even normal people...but people who proclaim their lack of class and decency and sound like they are seriously unhappy with their lives. I dont mean to say all enterprise employees are bad...but the ones that are on here posting like this are some of the lowest class degenerates ive ever heard....dwelling in a site that bashes their company. |
