| What 16 and 17 year olds did you have helping you out? First they cannot hire anyone under 18 due to operating a vehicle with customers in it and they won't even rent to someone that young so to say that the person was 17 like it is factual is total horse shit (unless they have different hiring practices like that somewhere else then I will apologize). Second you state that the employee pointed out the damage to you (the correct procedure) and then brought you inside while they researched it (correct procedure where they are supposed to just write the damage report and then let loss control sort it out which is ridiculous and I will agree with you on that). Where you lost the people on this thread is were you projected this image of you are better than the employee and that is where you get no love from people. When you project that type of image people think you are a douche bag. When you go to a rental car company without a reservation (I am assuming you did not ohterwise you would have made that point) you shouldn't expect 100 clean cars to be sitting arouned waiting for someone to miraculously show up because that is not how money is made. If it is a Monday, Tues or Friday expect a wait, a car to be dirty etc if you have no rez. If you have a rez and that happens then that is poor planning on that branches part and that sux for them. Sorry you had to do for a day without your precious MAXIMA (WOWWWWWWWW) because you were having work done. Did you freak out on the dealership because your car is not in perfect working order?? If it was scheduled maintenance then the dealer should have made a rez avoiding that in the future. You are a customer, ERAC employees are people and sometimes people make mistakes (your parents for example) and you have to let people make mistakes otherwise no one learns. __________________ "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt"-Abe Lincoln |

Why? Because Failing Enterprise has been up for over two years and it hasn’t made Enterprise do squat. They still screw their employees. And they still screw their customers. I mean, there are probably hundreds of thousands of posts here that prove that. But just because you tell someone something is unethical does not mean they will believe you. If so, this site would’ve made Andy Taylor fix his company a long time ago. So, ten more people knowing about the shady practices at ERAC won’t do anything. For every three people that boycott ERAC, there are 30 more to take their place. This is because ERAC rents cars far too cheap. They’re like Walmart. People don’t like Wally World’s ethics, but they sure do enjoy the bargains. After all, why buy a $350 TV at Best Buy when you can go to Walmart and get it for $280?? Being able to beat the competition is how ERAC stays afloat . . . because it sure as hell isn’t their customer service. And saying the customer is always right is a false remark. I believe that a customer should be treated with respect, but anyone who has ever worked in retail knows there are some customers that are just pricks. And they are the first ones who start talking about how the customer is always right. So, I also think this guy is a bit of a douche. He’s crying because an MT made a mistake and then fixed it. A real man would accept that everyone makes errors and move on. If he would just go “Well, next time I rent I’ll look closer. Lesson learned.” But he’s not doing that. He can’t even own up to the fact that he’s to blame a little as well, since he also missed the damage. And, he wasn’t charged a dime, which I can promise there are lots of people that have paid for dents and scratches they didn’t make. |

Customer IS always right?? Ha. That sounds like something an asshole customer would say. In a business setting, yeah, you have to bend backwards for customers sometimes. But on some random discussion board, the customer is not always right. I would love to see people like you handle jerk customers like you. Then you would understand why people are giving you shit. People are calling you a jerk because your description of what happened makes you sound like one. And you really shouldn't be knocking anyone that comes to this site frequently when you're complaining about being approached about damage that you didn't even get charged for. You also shouldn't be commenting about things like class and intelligence either when you're putting down others for having a job that you feel is less important than yours. |

Here’s a newsflash for you: People make mistakes!!!! Why are you so angry about something that wasn’t done intentionally and didn’t result in you getting charged? The MT showed you the dent, went inside to look at the computer records, and then cleared you. It happens all the time. I’ve seen customers come on here that have actually been CHARGED for damages that they didn’t do. And they bitched less than you are now. Go take a fucking Midol. Or, get a spoon and scoop the sand out of your bleeding vagina. |

As for you remarks about people here being pussies, I'll bet you didn't say shit after the "kid" discovered the damage was already there and told you not to worry. He also probably kissed your ass until it bled to make you feel better. And you probably stood there like the tool you are and told them everything was fine and that you weren't pissed..... ...then you came here, saying things that you obviously didn't say to anyone at the branch. You're a fucking flamer. |

The car was covered in salt? In June?? Where's the Enterprise branch, Nome Alaska? Did you have a reservation? I doubt it, since it was a dealer rental, and you already stated you "wanted to get going", or something to that effect. No rez means no car ready for you, so your choice Skippy, is to take the car as is or wait to have it properly cleaned. Many branches (including mine) have only one car prep for as many as 100 or more vehicles, and that doesn't take into account the time the prep spends on the road shuttling customers and picking up vehicles dropped all over the city. And while I'm on the road, cars ain't gettin' cleaned, buddy. They DO "document shit", because no employee can be expected to remember every single tiny dent and paint scuff for a 100 vehicle fleet, can they? Or maybe you think they should. In any event, the process worked as it was intended to, yet you still felt the need to come on here and insult employees who did their job. The proper way would have been to clean the car first, but I'm sure you reminded the "17 year old" how precious your time is and can't afford to waste any waiting to have the car washed. Your disdain for the staff is obvious from the time you walked into the office. I think this is another classic case of a story being told with some crucial details left out to portray the customer in a better light. |

And I'm not angry. I was just having fun. Perhaps you didn't see the other poster who was talking about condoms and AIDS. That's anger, my friend. |
