Re: the final on enterprise's insurance When I worked as a BM I remember how pissed off I was if a renter returned a car with damage and they took the CDW. Especially if they only took it for a couple of days. Our waiver was about $15/day, so we got $30 but the car had $5,000 damage.(the brach now pays out about $420 month added to their damage reserves which decreases the branch profit) Selling CDW is a gamble and much like operating a Casino. The odds are in ERAC's favor over the long term but they take some nice hits along the way. The unfortunate for a BM and Asst't M that gets paid on a branch is if they get a big CDW hit it hits their pockets more directly where an Area Manager for Group Manager that gets paid on other branches they have more room to absord that hit in their paycheck. |
