| Very true. But the point of the matter is, is that the customer is responsible for the car no matter what happens to it. |

If someone borrowed their friends car and it got burned, or stolen, or gremlins ripped it to shreds, that person couldn't tell their friend "Sorry man. But, it's not my fault because I didn't do it." It's called taking responsibility. Yeah, it sucks the car was damaged. But, it sucks that Katrina took 60% of Louisiana with her. Such is life. |

| Maybe I'm mistaken, but it seems to me her main point is the damage was already present when she took posession of the vehicle, whether caused by hail or not. And that the employee shrugged off that damage as normal wear and tear, as if the criteria denoting chargable damage changes somewhere between check out and check in. |

And posters berate you because you're a first grade, class A prick, Mr. happy to file a claim against his neighbor, dentist, department store, and any human that dares to cross paths with the mighty car restoration man. Instead of posting to discussion boards, you should look into taking some communication courses and basic human interaction courses. But knowing you, you'd probably file suit against the instructor, school, and text book distributor. |
