Damage I Did Not Do

RENTED A CAR THAT LOOKED PREETY BAD TO BEGIN WITH, WHILE DRIVING HOME THE CAR SHOOK LEFT O RIGHT. AFTER A WHILE THE SHAKING WAS GONE.. NEXT DAT DRIVING TO WORK ON THE EXPRESS WAY, THE CAR AGAIN STARTS TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE. PEOPLE WERE LOOKING AT ME AS IF i WERE DRUNK. I STOPPED AND CHECKED THE CAR BUT NOTHING.. i PROCEEDED TO DRIVE WITH HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND WHEN I GOT TO WORK CALLED ENTERPRISE TO PICK UP THE CAR. TWO MONTHS LATER I RECEIVED A BILL FROM THE IDIOTS FOR A BENT REAR CONTROL ARM.. I'M SO PISSED, i CALLED THEM AND STILL THEY INSIST I DID THE DAMAGE.. I CALLED THE PRESIDENT AND WELL SEE WHAT HAPPENS..

My guess is that you would prevail in small claims court if it came to that. No one could reasonably expect a consumer to spot such a thing during the initial inspection. Remember that you do NOT need an attorney to file a small claims case.

Toolfins, screw off with the court thing. That is a last resort for people who don't have people skills and cannot properly articulate their position to erac upper management.
Escalate the problem up the chain until you get the answers you want. This will work 99 out of 100 times.
As far as you taking them to court??? If they are not willing to budge and they can prove you are responsible for the damage they will be taking you to court.

Toolfins...you seem like the kid in High School who was picked on and instead of standing up for yourself you told the school bully that the people picking on you called his mother a whore. If you have to resort to small claims court immediately then you are seriously in lack of social skills and should probably just stay holed up in your home wondering when you are going to fixup that beater you call a classic. There is a chain of command with ERAC just like any company and if you do the right thing then you should be okay.

You informed the branch there was an issue in a timely manner, they did not have you sign a document stating that there was damage (if you did then you are an idiot) and they let you go without doing so then they released you of liability. If they did not properly document the fact that you returned the car, it was driving funny and then immediately shop it your argument is that there is no written proof you damaged the car. It is just as likely that one of the did it and decided to blame you. Wait for the small claims court until after you are stonewalled, ignored and told to pay.

First off, coming here to this site cannot do anything for you. No one on Failing Enterprise can fix this issue. You're best bet is to keep complaining to corporate. But coming here . . . what did you think you were going to achieve? Stop wasting time.

To the Administrator: I wrote a post to this customer (if he really is one) yesterday. When I came on here today my post had been deleted. I've read other messages here that are waaay worse. I also did not violate your Terms of Use. What gives?? I think it's very hypocritical to promote free speech and then erase my post because it goes against your website and this "customer."
