its really hard to take anyone seriously when they cannot write or spell at even a 6th grade level. Firstly, the idiotic complainer who keeps spelling enterprise with a Z , enough said, you probably can't read well either, hence the misunderstanding of why your son was responsible for f*cking up the car. Second to the person who spells horrible horrable............I can't even begin with you but wow

whoever wrote this topic, get over it. i work for enterprise, and i can guarantee you that if those tires went out new and came back new, there would be no problem. however, if they went out new and came back in the position that your son was accused of, then it is just. were you in the car with your son at all times he was driving the vehicle? im sure you can remember when you and your friends were 18 and in a vehicle that you didnt have to pay for. c'mon, im sure your son isnt a perfect angel. enterprise maitenence their vehicles every 5000 km or manufacture instructions, and that includes tires. during the walk around at the beggining of the rental, this is something that we go over, and if the tires were bare, it would have been noticed. it costs us next to noting to replace tires, as long as it is due to wear and tear over time. besides, they have tests that they can run to determine how quickly tread has been worn off of a tire, so im sure that theese charges are just. to come on a website and bash us with the intent to destroy or business, is completly immature. im sure you taught your son well

I agree with the original poster. ERAC sucks. I wonder how much his company is worth? ERAC IS THE KING. Bow to Andy.

ok jerk offs....first..are you SERIOUS!!!!??? this chick got hastled, perhaps not harrassed and certainly no fraud was commited because of her follow up work but she was HASTLED and that sucks!!!...i KNOW that some of the problems were inherent to erac (understaffing, no cars)...and i KNOW that since she doesnt know all the rules up front it can be annoying to teach them to her....and i KNOW that honda overpromised her but the bottom line is........SHE GOT HASTLED....she had to deal with a retarded MT who didnt know he could call a 1-800 number to verify insurance...she had a wedding to go to.....not just any wedding...her SON's wedding..... and no one told her what to do...she doesnt work for the company dudes......she cant read minds!! cut her some slack you corporate losers.....you're like "erac sucks but i'll just suck thier d*&k a little longer cause i can't handle dealing with actual human beings any more"......if erac has scarred you so badly that you simply cannot deal with the day to day issues of human life....STEP IN FRONT OF A BUS.....erac sucks and so do you "scarred employee losers"!!!

get over yourselves...end of story

First of all, under 25, everyone and there dog knows that's almost impossible to rent a car. Most companies charge $25+ to rent the car if under 25, Enterprise does not. And they will rent you a car under 21 if the car is being paid for by an insurance company, and the insurance is transferable to a rental car. Why do you think insurance companies charge so much for under 25 and under 21, two words "HIGH RISK" I'm sure you are smart enough to understand that. Maybe you were not informed about that, or were unaware. But don't be rediculous...companies want to make money, that's why they are founded, but they also have to protect their assets.

My youngest son had a one year old Honda and had been having problems with it. (Another story on that fraud) Anyway, the car was purchased with my ex's name, since my son was 1 month from 18. He, ex, was not willing to go the extra mile to make sure the problems were fixed, so I was determined while I was in to get it taken care of. I had bought 2 cars there so I knew the guys. I took the car in and rented a car from a different company. Honda was supposed to be finished that afternoon. The day before the wedding. Well, it so happened that the car was not ready, but it would take another week. This was going to leave my son with no way to work, 2 hours away from home, for a week. The Honda store was given no option but to rent him a car. We were told that the next morning, the car at Enterprize would be ready at 9:00 straight up. I explained that it had to be because I had to get the other rental back or would be charged.
We had the day planned with no minute unaccounted for. We got there. Only 2 employees on site. 2 other customers were getting taken care of. I explained the situation and was told it would be a few minutes. I had to have the other car back at 9:30 or would have to pay another $55. When they were dragging their feet I told them that I would have to go and they needed to pick me up. Their reply was "we don't pick up customers!" What? And what is the main advertisement? "Enterprize, we pick you up."
Anyway, I left, slightly unhappy, knowing I had a wedding in another town in 5 hours and appointments all the way, I ran to the other agency. Honda had to pick me up and take me back. I got there and there was no one waiting. I got ready to sign for my son, because he was 19 I was told he had to have someone to co-sign for him the day before. The young guy then tells me that he will not rent to him because he is underage. I got on the phone with Honda. The guy explained why and said that Honda had to give this kid a car. Then the employee says,"It is Saturday and without the insurance card", which was in the honda, locked up, "I can't know for sure that he has insurance".
Duh, he owns a brand new Honda, with no insurance?
The guy from Honda is on the phone and explains that Allstate is a pretty big company, and he thinks that for sure they have a 24 hours number to prove he is insured, DUh!!!
The little employee says "I don't know how to find the number on the internet"
Boy was he out of his league! I told him I would get over there and find it for him. He evidently sees that he is not going to get by with it and gets them on the phone. Finally after 1 hr, we go out to the car. One little dent was found, but then left in the car. The next week the car was delivered to Honda and his car picked up. THe honda rep told the pick up guy that if there were any problems to let him know. Never called back.
About 1 1/2 months later my son gets a letter from Enterprize stating that he would have to pay for new tires that he had completely ruined them. What, in a week? He had only driven to work and home for one week. I called Honda to see if anyone signed for damages and when I finally talked with the right person he told me what he had said on pick up day and had never heard anything from Enterprize. This had been over 2 months later. They had no proof of damage!!!
This went on for months. They never called his dad, who the insurance was listed with. They somehow found my son's little girlfriend's cell phone number, still haven't figured this one out, and asked for my son's number. It was not given, but they found it anyway. (They had no way of knowing his girlfriend's name. Scary isn't it)
After months of threatning letters and calls, his father finally gets a letter, the first after 5 or 6 months, stating that he would have to pay for damages. Now that he was involved, (only because he thought he would have to pay) did he take action. Enterprize would never call the insurance company, for some reason. When his dad went in, he told them when they gave him pictures and proof of damage then he would look into it, but not until. When this employee pulled up the record on the car, there was NO DAMAGE TO THE TIRES ON THE REPORT!!!!!! The insurance company never heard from them.

Now, if I were part of this, legally, in my name, I would take them to court for harrassment.
Tell me this wasn't a scam

I have been an Enterprise customer for 5 years. There are good people, and there are bad people, just like any company, anywhere in the world, but I have never had any company go out of their way more to right a wrong than Enterprise. The rock! If you are unhappy, maybe you did get that one idiot in their branch, but stop and think, could it have been you? Just be real! They are human, and you are too. We all make mistakes.
