Management Training Program

Regardless of college major or professional experience, nearly 100% of our employees start out in our Management Training Program. This allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand how they have a significant financial interest in seeing it succeed. As you progress, increasingly more opportunities will become available to you. You can choose, as most people do, to continue your rewarding ascent on our Rental Operations managerial track or you can explore one of the many exciting options outside of car rental. Areas include Fleet Services, Human Resources, Car Sales, Accounting, Marketing and more.

About to graduate?
As a Management Trainee, you'll discover that we've hired you to eventually run your own business. Our business skills training program allows you to make crucial business decisions in a surprisingly short amount of time.

Worked, but haven't found your niche?
At Enterprise, promotions are based on performance not seniority. We look for energetic individuals who are goal-oriented. We will teach you to successfully run your own business and then give you the opportunity to do it.

Experienced, but looking for something new?
If you are self-motivated and have the ability to think on your feet, you could soon be running your own business. It's an opportunity to earn in 2-3 years what it might take 10 years to earn somewhere else.

It's like an MBA crash course
Once you’ve completed your initial orientation and training, you'll be assigned to a branch office in your home area and the hands-on training begins. You'll learn valuable business skills from capable mentors who were once in your shoes. Nearly 100% of all our managers and corporate executives started out as Management Trainees.

Rewards, promotions and income potential
During your first year, you will actively participate in everything from sales and marketing and customer service to operations and finance. As you progress, you will be tested and evaluated to determine your proficiency in these areas. Successful completion of these tests and evaluations will result in rewards, pay increases and the opportunity for continued promotions.

Based on merit. Not seniority.
On average, you can expect to be promoted to Branch Manager within two years. The timing, though, is truly up to you. Thanks to our entrepreneurial philosophy, there’s absolutely nothing holding you back. Your own initiative and capabilities, coupled with your ability to think on your feet and market effectively, will dictate how fast you advance.
You are expected to more than that-you are expected to lie, cheat, backstab, drink (heavily) go to mandatory monthly meetings after an 11 hour day all with a smile on your face while making $9/per hour.

Because another company can still pay peanuts and it is an upward step? Because they know that you're okay to work 14 hour days?

You learn to grow your business and you also learn to manage an office full of employees. Probably the best thing about working for the company is that you don't work with stupid people like you do at many other companies out there.

Other career opportunities that you can get into with enterprise.
Selling cars
Working in accounting
Working in Human resources
Working in loss control
Working with large insurance companies
These are just a few of the many opportunities available.

Tell me how many companies have an average retirement age of 45 years? This is retiring without a pension, this is retiring wealthy.
It is true that you can develop good business skills working for Enterprise. It's just you are not fairly compensated for the amount of time and work you put in.

My advice is to take the skills you learned in your first year at ERAC and then look for another job. The skills you learn WILL fetch you a higher paying job elsewhere with a standard 40 hour workload.

Forgetting that you are so young that the reason your insurance is so high that it's a huge risk to carry you on the policy anyway. Sorry we are trying to accomodate the customers who are young.
This is funny. There's a reason why other rental car agencies do not rent to 21 year olds. They are higher risk. To say that ERAC rents to this group makes it sound like they are desperate for the business that the competition does not need. It's like comparing Eastwood Insurance (ERAC) to AAA (Hertz).

...And you can make a lot more money elsewhere with the same skillset and workload.

Why try to make you super happy when you are just going to bitch anyway! Kiss my ass for coming and picking you and then taking the time to go back and pick up the car that we told you had to be returned to the branch. Now we are loosing money on that too. Along with loosing money because you probably left the tank empty dick! Kiss my ass for even trying! Be nice to someone for 10 hours a day and get yelled at and talked nasty to when we are a third party in most deals with insurance or body shops!!! Whatever people, you don't have any clue. You know how I know you don't have any clue... Because you sound like idiots on here. Get a real job, then come back at me and speak. Until you have a ligit. point. Keep the typing for yourself. No one wants to see it!!!
This statement makes you sound like you are on the verge of burnout. Most of us are just communicating our experiences with Enterprise. It is ultimately up to the readers to draw their own conclusions. If ERAC is such a great place to work, then you really shouldn't have to worry about what people say here.
