| I recently saw this advert on Monster and was wondering, what the real deal was with this, are you paid while you do this training or are you ment to work for free, and what is the reality of actually moving up the ladder? Are you expected to wash cars? __________________________________________________ Management Training Program Regardless of college major or professional experience, nearly 100% of our employees start out in our Management Training Program. This allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand how they have a significant financial interest in seeing it succeed. As you progress, increasingly more opportunities will become available to you. You can choose, as most people do, to continue your rewarding ascent on our Rental Operations managerial track or you can explore one of the many exciting options outside of car rental. Areas include Fleet Services, Human Resources, Car Sales, Accounting, Marketing and more. About to graduate? As a Management Trainee, you'll discover that we've hired you to eventually run your own business. Our business skills training program allows you to make crucial business decisions in a surprisingly short amount of time. Worked, but haven't found your niche? At Enterprise, promotions are based on performance not seniority. We look for energetic individuals who are goal-oriented. We will teach you to successfully run your own business and then give you the opportunity to do it. Experienced, but looking for something new? If you are self-motivated and have the ability to think on your feet, you could soon be running your own business. It's an opportunity to earn in 2-3 years what it might take 10 years to earn somewhere else. It's like an MBA crash course Once you’ve completed your initial orientation and training, you'll be assigned to a branch office in your home area and the hands-on training begins. You'll learn valuable business skills from capable mentors who were once in your shoes. Nearly 100% of all our managers and corporate executives started out as Management Trainees. Rewards, promotions and income potential During your first year, you will actively participate in everything from sales and marketing and customer service to operations and finance. As you progress, you will be tested and evaluated to determine your proficiency in these areas. Successful completion of these tests and evaluations will result in rewards, pay increases and the opportunity for continued promotions. Based on merit. Not seniority. On average, you can expect to be promoted to Branch Manager within two years. The timing, though, is truly up to you. Thanks to our entrepreneurial philosophy, there’s absolutely nothing holding you back. Your own initiative and capabilities, coupled with your ability to think on your feet and market effectively, will dictate how fast you advance. |

| It all sounds pretty in the description, but the company is very bottlenecked in promotons. once you get to a Branch manager, the next step is a area manager, and this postion hardly ever opens up. Once you are a brach manager, the really only moves are lateral moves to brancs that are further away....and yes, you do wash alot of cars...... In other words....RUN, RUN AWAY, FAR AND FAST FROM ENTERPRISE...... |

| Everything really. Even though ERAC really sucks, people learn a great deal while working there such as sales, marketing and most importantly managment skills. If you can work at ERAC for 2 years and make to at least Assistant Manager you will open up a lot of doors for yourself. I know there ars a lot of relly bad managers at ERAC but it is good managment experience. |

Are you sure about that? can ex-erac employees become engineers, accountants, IT specialist, nurses, etc??? They only thing they can become are sales reps in various industries or go back for more schooling and certificiates. OR work for HERTZ No real transferable skills |
| |||
| then why cant this big ass company pay them enough to hold them. this is why other companies want us and they will pay us also |

If you disagree with this...........please inform us of your transferable skills outside of sales and customer service and what career paths ERAC can lead you to without advance education............THE FLOOR IS ALL YOURS |
