| Are you like me? I will drive an extra 15 minutes to go to the Target where it is clean, the shelves are stocked with the items I am looking for, and the employees are nice, because for some reason the store close to where I live always seems to be dirty and the employees won't barely look at you, let alone be helpful. It's the same thing with every large company. And unfortunately it's the same thing with Enterprise. Some branches excell at customer service while others completely fail. I have worked for Enterprise for a long time, and I will continue to do so, yes we make mistakes, sure there were customers that I probably infuriated back in my rental days, but bottom line is, it is a good company, that makes it tough when you start out in order to weed out the weak. If you survive your first year, and you're smart, work hard, and up for any challenge, Enterprise will reward you for your hard work. There are definately flaws in the company, but what company doesn't have them? I have been let down by other employees, and some employees have amazed me. I know a branch manager who will go to the airport on Sundays (they're closed on Sundays) to put a customer in a car who otherwize would be stranded. My former branch manager would come in on his own extremely early in the morning just to start washing cars to give us a head start. When I was still an MT there were people in the company who would spend hours of their free time in the evenings answering my questions and helping me grow in the company get promoted. I knew a branch manager who would give all of his customers his cell phone number in case they were in an accident or had a flat tire, whatever the case may be, so he could help them. Enterprise does hire some amazing people, and we do have some absolutely loyal customers. And as for the customers who hate us, chances are they weren't listening to what we were saying, don't think they should have to be responsible for anything in life, and think they are entitled to taking advantage of others. Enterprise itself in not unethical, it's the dirtbag customers who twist things in their minds that think we are. |

If you survive your first year, you have a tolerance for pain, bullshit, aren't bothered by the stupidity of the general public, work hard, up for any challenge, will STILL not likely get higher than Branch Manager, and will be a great asset to whatever company you choose to work for after ERAC. But hey, enjoy the ride bro. |

| Oh I would NEVER deny that...it's a WELL known fact that they stretch the truth...they are taught to...just like..."sir your dinner will be out in just a minute"...or "the pizza will be there in 30 minutes or less" ...or "your cab will be waiting out front"...ya never heard any of those though right?!?! As an ex branch manager and 7 years with the company (I quit btw), I could tell you stories about how bad we lied...but I could tell you WAY MORE about the f'in insane people we helped on a daily basis...where would you like me to start???? |

I am one of the ethical ones...I don't stretch the truth, I don't lie...I try to explain all of the possibilities, and really believe the protections can help...for a price...like everything else...I do try to explain them thoroughly. Like today, for instance, a woman said, "No, I don't want you to sell me anything!" I let her know that I simply wanted to inform her. She promptly tuned me out, and sat in the car. I asked her if she wanted to look at the condition of the vehicle with me...she refused. Friend, you are one of the rare ones...most people just expect us to give them a vehicle to beat on as they like, for the cheapest price possible. They don't want to hear about the fact that they are responsible for anything. When they are faced with damage, they will say anything they can, often lying about something that someone in the same room said. Frankly, I'm certain there have been people with Enterprise that have done unethical things, but the majority of us care about your experience...ESQi anyone? After reading this website, I am now more convinced than ever...Enterprise is doing business in the best way that they know, and customers are doing the same thing. There is dishonesty on both sides, and that needs to stop. How about this...We'll stop if you do. |
