how deep & how long was the scratch??? was it thru the paint? i'd complain...be sure to ask for the area manager's name & cell number & call him too. tell them that you will pay an attorney before you will pay them...i ALWAYS LOVED that one. they are typically too busy with cash renters that have misplaced their cars to report this on your credit. by the way...if your husband wasn't listed on the contract to drive...don't bother letting him make the call for you. that was always another of my favorites..."Sir, if you are not listed on the contract...I can't speak to you about this matter." Just be REALLY LOUD with whoever you talk to...they'll appreciate it in the long run!!

You are right but the BM is the one who sends a customer's name into his ARM or to loss control to be sent to collections.

You are both correct, but under different circumstances. I have dealt with this situation before; the customer refused to pay for damages done to our vehicle and after the Enterprise 90-day mark, they were sent to collections by our LC Administrator.

wow...you must have GREAT numbers...i might even take cdw next time i rent. by the way...no...nobody's name is implied on a legal contract. if you work for erac (your attitude screams YES) then why are YOU on an anti-ERAC website...better hope they don't catch ya...might as well have your resume posted on hotjobs.com!
