Re: "Rental Car Companies Get Aggressive on Damage" From NYT I currently work for enterprise and have only written 3 dx's in my year as an eracer which probably doesn't sound much like a big deal to you but anyone who has ever worked for them knows i should've written more than 20 by now. My thing is why is it that when some dude damages my car and gets away with it, its a case of the little guy screwing over the asshole corp. but when i catch someone who damages my car, i'm an asshole. I mean i'm not some asshole corp, i'm one dude who runs a branch that's trying not to gets screwed for that $500 dent you put in my car, that's come out of my paycheck if i don't catch it. i've let my fair share of damage go and pawned the car off on another branch and i've also missed damage and blamed it on someone with cov. just so i didn't have to pay for it all at once. so next time you get blamed for some damage you didn't do, think for a second, where you really watching that car every minute you had it or did you run to the store and leave the car outside for 10 mins or in the parking lot at work or you could take some responsibility and look the car over better when you pick it up. |
