When I picked up my car at the Orange County Airport last week there were no overhead lights where the car was parked. I could hardly see the car when I was inspecting it. However when I dropped off the car, about 30 feet away from where I picked up the car, it was very brightly lit. Coincidense or Evil Master Plan? Probably bad building maintenance but it made me think.

Sure. I could ask them. But what percentage of customers will think to ask. 10%? 5%. With those odds it certainly gives ERAC the advantage. Afterall, at the volume they are working with it is a numbers game.

If you can't see, I would guess a 100%. If I can't read a book because its too dark, I turn on a lot. That's just common sense. What business isn't a numbers game.

Again I agree with you. However many customers simply do not have enough experience dealing with this sort of thing to apply what we would call common sense. He gets fooled by all the little things that take advantage of him. In this case I don't think ERAC dimmed the lighting on purpose. As I said in the orginally posting I think it is just building maintenance getting behind. But I thought this would be a good discussion for this group.
