does erac intentionally miss damage sometime? probably. are you an idiot for "agreeing to the condidtion" of the vehicle without looking at it? YES, you are.

but i'm sure you're like all the rest. i'm sure you said "it was there when i got it."

pony up for the damage. erac will win one way or another.

Even if he has to pony up, he could always go back to the lot late at night and fuck shit up since ERAC's cars are wide open for anyone who wants them after hours. And oh, send a nice sized rock through the fucking window while your at it. Cheers!

Although I would never personally condone such activity, I can see how ERAC would drive and motivate a person to such acts.

And then get arrested because the police see you or you're caught on camera. No need to resort to criminal activity. You were in the wrong for not inspecting the vehicle properly before signing the contract. Without inspecting it you don't know what kind of damage was there before hand. Also, if you have questions about the repair bill, submit it to your insurance company and they will go over it with a fine toothed comb to make sure you aren't ripped off. Now, if they charged your deductable on your ccard before the vehicle was repaired, they're in the wrong and you can fight them on that. Maybe get the whole thing waived. Yes, ERAC does charge for down time and yes that is legal.

ever read contracts before you sign them? you might want to start. erac's rental contract is so loaded with stuff YOU ARE LEGALLY AGREEING to it would make you sick.

so, they want a ccard for your rental the dealership is paying for? why? because the fine print says that if a third party fails to pay, ... GUESS WHAT???? IT'S YOUR BILL.

you're basically saying you agree to bow down to the cross in st. louis.

fight it. charge it back on your ccard. you lose because the contract is lethal.

you don't inspect the car? doesn't matter. the instant you initial it you have legally agreed to the condition in which you received it. trust me, it will hold up in court, chargebacks, etc.

and if erac SWIPES your cc and you signed the rental contract -- you don't have a chance. just send visa, etc., the bill.

I have a question...

DUB does not sound like "damage waiver"...
is it perhaps a short for DUB-bull your commission?

That would explain a few things.
