Bitching gets you what you want when it is a customer service issue, you can bitch to whomever you would like they are just going to send you to loss control. These are the people who hear this every day, and don't really care if you are bitching because it is their job to make sure the damage gets paid for, they don't care by who and they don't care how. The problem here is this guy has to prove that the damage is not his fault, as I am sure EXLOSSCONTROL will tell you it is near useless to bitch to them.

In the end, if you are truly screwed over by ERAC there is a way to get back at them. Most lots are wide open at night with zero security (hint hint). And, how good is your throwing arm?

keep going up the ladder. make a huge fuss. threaten to write a letter to a local newspaper claiming fraud or threaten to call your local news channel to do an investigative report. the big E is a company that, in all seriousness, could give a rats ass about a tire on an aveo.

the hint of you taking this public is worth MUCH more than the couple hundred dollars they can eat to make you shut up and go away.

the key is, as mentioned above, just keep going up the ladder. by the way, what did your insurance company advise you to do?

you never know, but in all reality you're probably screwed. once you get involved with the loss control department you're no longer dealing with the counter-apes who are brainwashed to be nice and friendly (I loved the term programmed).

future advise:don't rent the shittiest car erac offers.
