Any company has right to hire all whites or mexicans, or blacks if they want. And maybe if they learned to speak the language we wouldn't just say sign here here and here. |

| Yep, in ERAC's eyes they are good enough to be car preps and maybe a token number of MTs. We all know the turnover in those positions don't we? There is a large and growing educated hispanic populace. Erac needs to take notice and level the playing field. |

You are complaining about peanuts. MT, and recruiter positions are bullshit. Where you need to focus your energy on change is upper management. If you cant crack that egg, then you just need to move on to a different company or career. Upper management should be your goal, if not, you will always be exploited for car preps and MT's. Personal advice from a minority, just leave now. There is a glass ceiling for all minorities. They have a couple up there to give hope to the masses, but the truth is 99% will never make it to senior company management. Dont bitch on this website and then go back to work the next day. Just take the time to find new company where you will be appreciated, and move on. |

| This Hispanic guy quit after 3 years of hard work. I did everything I could to get promoted, but onle made it to Asst Mgr. Why? Well, I wasn't blowing my boss as female employees were. Gp 52 was a joke.....Unoraganized and very unprofessional in the South areas. |
| |||
| yeah, and neither one of them does anything. I used to work in 52. They are both great people, but that position does not open up---EVER. |

| Devil's Advocate: Maybe they don't want Hispanic recruiters because they don't want Hispanic employees? Recruiters are typically representative of the population they wish to, literally, recruit. There aren't any Hispanics in Halifax, so I don't know any, but that's how it works here with the Asian community, African-Canadians, etc...they hire recruiters specifically to go after this demographic. My 2 cents :) __________________ "Book that deal!" "You said we're sold out!?!" "Don't question me kid!" |

| Perhaps you missed this important part of the subject header...."IN TEXAS"! NOT California, dear. I noticed the same thing in Utah (GP47). Even the car preps are rarely Hispanic, even though Hispanics are the largest minority in Utah. I ought to know...I was married to one. They are already notorious for tending to hire only LDS members in Utah. I remember being asked if I was a member - the employer flat out refused to hire anyone who wasn't. Granted, that wasn't Enterprise, but that doesn't mean it's not happening with Enterprise on a slightly lesser degree. Until someone stands up and brings the proper authorities into play, it will continue! |

| Are you sure. I could have sworn the recruiter here was a female and hispanic. |

| What would any good come about complaining to her? You should complain to corporate or get some people together to protest. From what I understand, Southern California seems to be very diverse. 32AA is actually a very well run program. I have to give props to Mike Edwards and Larry Craft for that. |
