Default Anyone realize how dangerous this job is?

Let's face it, this job is rough for anyone. First, they make you repo cars. I was injured by a drug addict back in 2003 because my ass of an ARM threatend to fire me if I didn't go to Patterson NJ to repo a car. Second, we are forced to drive in any condition. I drove in hurricanes, blizzards and other insane weather. People have DIED from conditions like this. Anyone out there have a good story on danger working for this supposed "100 best companies to work for" or heard if anyone was killed from "going the extra mile" for their idiot ARM. I think ERAC is a bunch of crap.

I guess you can go work for McDonolds or Jack In The Box and not have to deal with that awful terrible stuff.

Default 100 best companies

It has been a long time since ERAC made the Fortune Top 100 Companies to work for list. (late 1990's?)

Turnover has and will keep them off for some time.

Looks like we have a "bleeding green" brainwashed hopeful in the house. Look, the job is dangerous and despite what you may think......it is not a corporate job. Not even a professional job. McDonalds, Jack in the Box, half of those poor kids should be so lucky...not to mention the pay is higher. Do the math, a 12 hour work day and a 6 day work week making 25k....what does that come out to on an hourly basis. Then look at what McDonalds employees make per hour. Notice much of a difference?

Out here in Montana we were often required to deliver cars to customers anywhere up to 150 miles away in the dead of winter. Branch drivers were often told that should they not want to take a job to deliver or swap cars on very icy roads the BM would just call somebody else and never call back to the driver not wanting to go. Employee safety was not a concern of the group. Christmas partys were a required function in mid-December where some of the people in this group had to drive up to 400 miles on icy roads just to be force-fed the typical ERAC CRAP and free booze.

Default What I said....

Like I said...you should work for McDonold's or Jack in the Crack....you'll get paid better for doing a black man's job like you do at ERAC.

Default Dangerous

Dangerous is a fireman, cop, taxi cab driver, 7/11 clerk, liquer store clerk, army, navy, air force, marines, tightrope walker, hockey player. Not a rental scrubb like you. Get a clue.
