I don't think that there should be any lawsuit b/c over eager morons who want to look good in front of their retarded bosses put themselves in danger by showing up at the homes of unbalanced customers in order to repo a car. BUT Repo's are NOT part of the JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you get hired its to rent cars and sell garbage to people, NOT become a repo man! If you don't want to repo a car then don't! |

Whoever says that you aren't ordered to repo a car has obviously never worked in GP 32. Yea, in the largest group in the country we were most certainly ordered to repo cars. I am a female who was told multiple times that I was to repo a car. In fact, my BM took me to repo a car on an Indian reservation (normal laws do not apply there). Not only did the lady not want to give the car back, she had a life-sized doll (of a white female) hanging from a noose outside her front door. Yea, just another day at ERAC in So Cal.

If you were ordered to do a repo it's against ERAC corporate policy. No ERAC employee can be forced to do a repo under any circumstances if they feel uncomfortable. In group 36 I never even heard of a female being allowed to do a repo. Bottom line, call corporate if your manager ever tries to force you into doing a repo. No need for a lawsuit. Those are for girly men.

Wasn't it because you work in the rental dept for something like 3 minutes? How would you know what happened in rental sitting in your lofty perch at admin? For your information, females most certainly go on repos and are expected to given the fact that they are branch managers

If you read my post, all I was saying was that no one can be FORCED to do a repo. Yes female branch managers do repos. It's not smart, but they do it anyway. Then again, when did intelligence factor into a typical day at ERAC?

Yea, I'm sure ERAC runs like a well oiled machine now that I'm gone. Just look at all the happy employees posting on this site.

One or two people? How can you tell? Almost all of them are unregistered. Not surprising since it's such a small group. You have to understand that in Hawaii everyone knows everyone, and it would be pretty easy to tell who the posters are. That's why almost every post is from "Unregistered". I can assure you the number of dissatisfied employees is far greater than those who enjoy their job and think they're getting treated well. If there's any doubt, check out their retention. Better yet, put a post on the group site and ask if people like their job. See what kind of response you get.
