Default Health Care coverage

In the State of California, if you leave your job and were covered by a health plan, and you obtain new employment, it is required by State Law that your health coverage goes into effect immediately. You do NOT have to wait 3 months. It's called HIPA.

I was bamboozled by Enterprise on this; had to wait 3 months for the United Healthcare to become available so I think that all California Employees should write the State Insurance Commissioner and inform him that E is not following this state mandated law.

You got screwed on "Creditable Coverage", and its HIPPA. Nothing you can do though, you have to inform your new insurance of creditable coverage.
