It's true, they do keep you around in 24DD at least. I know 4 people who got them. 2 were Assts and 1 was a BM at the time and they kept their jobs. The other was an MA and got fired right away. This is a company full of hypocrites and should be embarrassed for how they act. The guy who got fired did not deserve it, if they could keep the others, they could keep him too. As I said, DD is run by people with their heads up their asses. I still unfortunately work here, but that will change soon, along with a bunch of other people. Just wait for a massive quitting at the same time to cripple DD cause it's coming.

I see Enterprise Employees risk DUI's every time they go out. EOM's are great examples. I find it ironic that Enterprise's corporate culture promotes drinking & driving, but if you get caught you can be fired... I have also heard of managers getting demoted to MA for a probation period due to a DUI, but right after the probation they coincidentally get on the promotional fast track and are back at their same position in no time. ERAC should make a clear cut policy and stick to it. ERAC makes their policies super-strict, with all these stipulations and procedures, just so they have an excuse if they don't like you and want you fired. It's just like how the police have so many dumb laws that they can use an excuse, just so they can pull you over.

I am aware of an erac'er who had not one, but two DUI's in two years. Their punishment? Other than having to spend two weekends in jail, this person can't drive an ERAC for a year. The "termination" rule is a complete joke. Its all about being in the ERAC clique.

I worked for Enterprise in Ft. Lauderdale. I got a DUI about three months after I was hired. My ARM knew about it . . . and didn't say shit. In fact, when I left that place, it was b/c I was fed up. The DUI never was an issue. There were people that I knew who were fired on the spot. They'd get called to corporate and BOOM . . . no more company car. And being liked is a HUGE factor in it. We had upper managment failing drug tests that still got to stay. Fucking bullshit.
