It's great that this site has had such a tremendous impact on ERAC's fiscal viability. I mean because of the hit count on this site, ERAC is completely unable to get deals done. They've been crippled by the tremendous number of posts here. How will they survive?

Oh, wait, ERAC just bought out National/Alamo? I'm shocked. This site didn't derail that deal? Oh the humanity.

Oh well, I guess I'll go back to reading who is blowing who in the Inland Empire, Scranton and Miami. I gotta know as I live in Iowa and not much happens here.

p.s. God help the people of alamo and national; not that their lives where all that great before, but now, they are screwed. They are in my prayers.

BTW, disliking how this site is administered and disliking erac are not mutually exclusive concepts. So let's just stop the "your a pro-erac fool, etc. because you question admin" crap before it starts. Gracias.

The title of this new forum is wrong. This was not a merger it was an acquisition, there is a big difference.

So after 4 years of being City Manager for Vanguard, we have been bought out by the worst company possible. Great. So I guess I can kiss my company car benefit goodbye, and oh yeah, my location has made bonus every 1/4 for the past 2.5 years...betcha there will be no more of that! And oh yeah...I can count on one hand the number of times we have res-failed at my station....

Yup can't wait for the fun to begin!

hey Dumbass!! I know you're new and all but Enterprise gives you a bonus every month not every 1/4. You will continue to get a co. car. It will probably improve your job. Getting bought by ERAC is the best thing that has happened to your little shitty co. You'll be orking for me soon enough.

Why do ERAC rejects come on this site and pose as customers and now Vanguard employees. Everyone in the rental industry does everything possible to be just like ERAC. Before Ford sold Hertz to that Private Eqity group, who do you think they came to? That's right but Andy new that it would never go thru. Everyone knows that our business model is the best. The employees that could not follow it hate us and the few customers that don't understand still use us. We make more money that all the others combined.

Yea, your 60% occupancy won't fly under the new regime either...

No Actually Taylor shot out an FAQ to Enterprise on Friday an in that they say they will carefully remove redundant positions, you will probably lose your car and your job, hope you have a nice severance agreement.
