I myself am a Vanguard employee ... Once we got word of this deal - this link came flying around ....

Personally, I agree with the statement that this site more than likely consists of employees who couldn't cut the mustard and got fired... Now it seems they have nothing better to do until their next time to go to the unemployment line ...

Vanguard is a wonderful company to work for (if you are!) and I am sure Enterprise is as well. If it weren't - why would it be the #1 rental car company ... Makes me think that they must be doing something right ...

Anyhow, in closing... I won't be revisting this site - as it is pathetic and pointless !

If this goes through, ERAC will just close most Alamo/National locations and expand current ERAC locations. BTW, remember that most Vanguard employees are not college grads and will be qualified to work at ERAC. At least everyone will be even lighter on staffing, that'll be great.

We've got room for you here, and if history is any guide, you're going to pretty soon start feeling the pain of working for or renting from Enterprise.

You must enjoy your pay being slashed then.

They won't be cutting their salaries as this is going to be a partnership. ERAC will remain a seperate yet parent entity of Vanguard (or so it seems). I don't think they want to change anything about the Vanguard name brand or employee situation just buy more cars and locations without the overhead and time of building them as well as getting into the airports. Probably a smart move. I don't see this failing as so far the Taylors are making sick fucking money. Usually smart business people do that (and get idiot college kids to be their slaves).

Ha... unless you were fortunate enough to work at LAX, MCO, ATL, or another huge airport location as a rental agent, you make pennies @ Vanguard.

Wake up current erac'ers. The success of this company is solely due to your willingness to work overwhelming hours for minimal pay. You're never going to be a GM!!! Any current erac'er out there ever come close to six figures.....how about working less than 40 hrs/week. No fucking way!!!!!
