Default National's Emerald Club

Does anyone know what will happen with National's Emerald Club, especially their Executive Elite members. Now when I rent a car from National, I just select the type of vehicle I want (Enterprise does not publish the rates for luxury vehicles, large SUV and other specialty vehicles because they will rip you off). I will also select any of their insurance options and purchase prepaid fuel (they will also let you know what the final cost for the prepaid fuel instead of the price per gallon). Usually, all National will ask "are you going to bring it back on full", if you tell them no, they will usually tell you its cheaper to fill it up yourself.

Once I arrive to the airport I will walk to the car class I reserved, drive the car to their window, hand the agent my license and credit card and I am on my way in 3-5 minutes. They will also give you the EXACT cost of the rental before you leave the airport.

If I have to start waiting for someone to walk me around the vehicle, try to sell insurance and fuel, I will have to start going to Avis/Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty.

Counter clerks at fast food chains don't rent cars on Emerald programs. ERAC buying National/Alamo won't effect you.

Luxury cars are listed on the website as well as mid size suv's. Do your homework before you speak. You sound dumb.

This is an ex enterprise employee or disgruntled current employee trying to sound smart. Nice try.

Another huge success for enterprise! this website is just full of ex bitter employees who did not cut the mustard or were fired and now they just argue with themselves. Hilarious!

National and the Emerald Club will remain.

Reread your press releases ! Currently Enterprise has a clinch on Insurance replacement and higher paying leisure renters. National has the clinch on the business side. Alamo has the clinch on the leasure informed renter. All three will remain seperate entities. Service will remain the same by brand.

I am sure enterprise is working on this hot button issue. i am sure they want to stremaline there rental process and make it easier for there customer's to rent. it would not make sense to buy a "airport rental" company and change it's flow. word to you your mutha
